This time, evo-devo. The more I learn about this stuff, the more fascinated I become. Genetics is not the same science it was as recently as 25 years ago.
That's why I laughed when they asked the question about evolution at the Republican debate, and three idiots raised their hands. Not only do they not *believe* in evolution, they don't know *anything* about it. It's like me saying I don't believe in advanced calculus or string theory.
I mean, we've traced our genetic lineage to a single tribe in Africa. Don't these people understand what the various genome projects mean for their ability to reject evolution? They must not, or they'd have put a stop to them by now.
