Did you know that only two countries in the world have failed to ratify the International Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989)? Somalia and...the United States of America. Makes you sick, doesn't it?
By the way, the text of the treaty is here. It's Article 2, Paragraph 2 that causes the problem for those who are oh-so-concerned about "the family."
